Hylton Wynick
Hylton Wynick, a Principal of the firm, joined Barbee & Associates, Inc. in 1995. Mr. Wynick specializes in representing bankruptcy Trustees who oversee both Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases, primarily in the Southern District of Florida and the Southern District of New York. Mr. Wynick has also represented Debtors and Creditors in bankruptcy matters as well as state court receivers and attorneys in divorce proceedings. Mr. Wynick has also assisted the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the recovery of assets and the forensic analysis of the entities being investigated.
Prior to joining Barbee & Associates, Inc., Mr. Wynick worked for a number of years at an international accounting firm and its successors, in the audit division, in both the Johannesburg, South Africa and Miami, Florida offices. Mr. Wynick’s primary area of concentration in auditing was in manufacturing, retailing and publishing. Mr. Wynick also spent several years at an asset based lending bank with primary responsibility for the analysis of financial data regarding lending decisions.
